WARNING ABOUT HOTEL BOOKING SCAMS
We have been advised that individuals and companies unaffiliated with COMPTEL have been contacting attendees and potential attendees, falsely telling them that the Marriott Marquis is booked during the period of the COMPTEL PLUS Fall 2015 conference, and demanding credit card information to book accommodations at alternative hotels.  COMPTEL does not use third party travel agencies or hotel booking services.  If you receive a call or other communication from one of these individuals or companies, we strongly advise you NOT to provide any credit card or other business or personal information to them.   All reservations and bookings for the COMPTEL PLUS Fall 2015 conference should be made directly with the Marriott Marquis.  If you have any questions about the Marriott Marquis and/or the availability of rooms, please contact Megan McDonald Paulson.
